Scholarly research and publishing plays an important role in the career development of any individual in the scholarly space. Because of this, it is vital that budding scholarly writers, myself included, work tirelessly to cement their reputation as producers of credible and high-quality work (Rocco & Hatcher, 2011). Like any other achievement, becoming a scholarly writer with a respected reputation and track record of credibility is a process that demands consistently increasing the credibility of one’s work. Fortunately, there are a number of ways that this goal can be realized.
