With the appropriate rewards schemes in place and appropriate team work systems or strategies to make employees feel part of the organization help the organization achieve its goals and objectives effectively (Swindall, 2011).. This paper will review and asses the strategies enhanced by Google Company, Acuity Insurance Company and Boston Consulting Company, that help in employees cohesiveness and employee motivation.
The Google company that was ranked number one among the top 100 companies stands out in its abilities to make its employees part of the organization. The company offers a number of employee’s perks that makes the employees feel recognized as part of the organization and that they are valued. Some of the basic factors that the organization has paid attention to include the health of the employees. This includes perks such as health insurance coverage, onsite childcare, onsite fitness center, discounted gym fees, onsite medical care facilities and high quality foods served to the employees. Also in the education sector the company provides tuition reimbursement for the employees who wish to expand or developed their skills more through employee development program. Commuter allowances are also provided among other several parks provided by the company. These perks serve to increase the rewards of the employees. According to Homan’s theory of exchange, these perks serve to increase the employees’ rewards as they strive to meet the goals set by the organization (Losh, 2011).
