CSR involves all departments of the organization, such as the human resources, health and safety, management, and supply chain, among others. The Corporate Social Responsibility duties of an organization may include funding and supporting charitable organizations in the communities where the business operates, taking part in the community’s environmental programs or in health and safety programs, creating employment opportunities for the local people living around the business premises, formulating company policies that follow ethical business practices, and many others.

In this case, we will focus mainly on the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Company is an American multinational company and is one of the leading providers and producers of information and entertainment in the world. The Walt Disney Company has its headquarters based in Burbank, California, in the United States. The Walt Disney Company has several Corporate Social Responsibilities, which include the commitment to conserving the environment by using resources wisely and protecting the environment. Disney is also committed to providing a workplace environment that will support and accommodate more than 220, 000 employees.
The company is working towards fostering respectful and safe workplaces. It is also working to understand and understand the supply chain conditions by respecting human rights. The company is aiming at providing high quality and inspirational entertainment that can be enjoyed by all people (Iger, 2019). The company has also been involved in social impact programs such as charitable giving for social welfare in the community. The company is also working towards diversifying its products through incorporation of different cultures from different communities in them. These Corporate Social Responsibilities have had several direct benefits and positive impact on the company.
