Siberian Tigers
My favorite creature is the Siberian Tiger, also called the Amur tiger. Its scientific name is Panthera tigris altaica. They are the biggest tiger species in the world and the largest member of the cat family “Felidae.” What makes these tigers unique are their muscular physique and a preference for colder climates. Also, Siberian Tigers are a unique type of cat because they appear to like water and bathing, as they are less tolerant of heat compared to other big cats. Thus, they have a paler orange color compared to other tigers. Also, the fur of the Siberian tiger is thicker, coarse, and spares than other tigers in the area they belong to. As the winter comes, the tiger’s fur adjusts in fuzziness and color. In the summer, the tiger’s coat is coarse, while in the winter, their fur becomes longer, denser, softer, and silkier.
