Sometimes Early Childhood Educators (ECE) believe that environmental factors play a very important role in enabling children to grow and realize their potential. Through nature, children are able to figure out who they really are. Nurture that is the environment plays a significant role in the development of behavior and personality among children (McCain, Mustard, & McCuaig, 2011). Nature can be described as the genetic inheritance or the genetic makeup which children inherit from their parents during the period of conception. Nature is categorized in the dominion of biology, hereditary, and genetics. On the other hand, nurture is the physical environment where the development of a child takes place.
