The ability to evaluate, comprehend, apply, and synthesize data obtained through observation, reading, and experimentation to make clear, reasoned decisions is the meaning of critical thinking to me. Critical thinking is essential in our daily lives, whether personally, academically, or professionally. As a student, critical thinking has helped me move closer to achieving my academic goals. I can expand the perspectives from which I view the world and increase my ability to navigate important decisions in learning and life. In my classwork, I can interpret the knowledge learned more thoughtfully and effectively, ask more challenging questions and participate in the learning process more intensely. Critical thinking has helped me to apply the knowledge learned in class to the outside environment in order to help myself and society in general.
