What obstacles for women writers, intellectuals, or artists does she address?

The writer Mary discussed that often women are only seen as objects rather than human beings with emotions and a sense of humanity. Wollstonecraft has elaborated on women's lack of education and the inability to strive in a man-driven and controlled world because of the fewer opportunities to study and learn. Men are given more priorities in the corporate world and the universities.

Author Virginia stated in her book that even the most intellectual women suffer persecution from their family and community because women are only thought of as household material meant for sewing, kitchen work, and motherhood. The dilemma in terms of lack of education and financial support is also why women are not given the recognition they deserve.

Adrienne elucidated the fact and sad truth that women have to sacrifice more than they could carry and be burdened with methods on how they would prove themselves to change the perspective of men about women.
