Coursework Instructions:

1. Evaluate how we describe of personality
2. Practice critical thinking skills.
STEP 1: Answer all TWO items below, in three different well-developed paragraphs 5-7 sentences each:
1. There is no simply definition of personality. Traditionally, one approach focuses on personality as a construct, while the other approach emphasizes the uniqueness of individuals. Do you believe that your personality should be described in a way that might also be used to describe the personalities of other people (maybe your friends - so in terms of general constructs/rules), or do you feel it is necessary to describe each person with an emphasis on the uniqueness of one's personality? Identify and integrate a pro and a con for each of this two approaches in your response? (5-7 sentences, a separate paragraph)
2. Some research suggests that personality is largely determined by genetics. Do you see similarities in your personality as compared to your parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, etc.? Do you think that your environment (things like your community, your friends, television, movies, school, the Internet, etc.,) are more influential than your biological inheritance from your parents? Please explain. (5-7 sentences, a separate paragraph).
Show that you can think critically on the topic by integrating your own thoughts, analysis, or experiences with what you read.
DO not copy the questions to save space in the thread.
