The first thing that I found to be very interesting was the aspect of figuring out when to blow the whistle in corporate situations. I found this to be extremely interesting because the entire premise of figuring out when to blow the whistle is based on establishing the seriousness of the issue. Unfortunately, this is extremely subjective because what is serious to one person may not be to another, and asking individuals to first make sure that the issue is a serious one based on a few templates is limiting (Trevino and Nelson 139). It essentially eliminates the ability of workers to self-determine what they feel is worth blowing the whistle on based on their personal values and instead prescribes specific conditions that are considered to be worth blowing the whistle on. I found this to be quite ethically ambiguous.
