Gephyrophobia
[Jeff-i-ro-fo-bia]
Extreme anxiety or fear of crossing bridges or tunnels (YouTube).

Suddenly I feel a bunch of butterflies inside my tummy, and a grip of fear overwhelms my mind as I approach the bridge that connects the two hills. How did I even come this far only to promenade on death? I slow down and murmur words of strength as I nudge my soul to awake and shine on this trial. Will I ever see my family again? Luckily, I see another vehicle coming closer and closer from the rearview mirror. It is an old couple singing, and it looks like they just came from a celebration. Oblivious to my existence, they bypass my brand new jeep, not caring to stop by and showing little concern. They graciously drive through the dark bridge while singing at the top of their voices, probably celebrating their victory after escaping death.
