I would use the state or district assessment data such as Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) to differentiate instruction for ELLs by getting the chance to know each student and their needs (Dougherty, 2015). For example, FSA provides a wide range of resources and skills that can help an instructor learn about ELLs students. FSA ensures that that the instructor can identify things such as background, skills, interests, and profile of the student to help in developing differentiate assessments for each student (Dougherty, 2015).
