The chapter discusses ways in which practitioners can manage boundaries and multiple relationships. Multiple relationships are defined as those in which a practitioner has a personal and professional connection with the same person and one or more roles with that person or someone close to them. Ethical considerations must be made when physicians mix their professional connection with a client's nonprofessional relationship (Corey et al., 2014).
