Codes of ethics in marketing research can be conceptualized as the combination of principles, values, and moral norms guiding business operators’ behaviors, including rules of conduct, standards, as well as moral judgments in diverse promotional endeavors (Lee & Jin, 2019). To understand the influence of the code of ethics on conscious capitalism in marketing research, it is crucial to define the latter. A conscious capitalist is an approach to thinking of capitalism and corporate entities that reflects the contemporary global economic conditions, including the potential of the commercial firm to impact positive influences on the community (Menon, 2020).
