Lally & Valentine-French (2019) cited there are three general types of temperament: easy child, difficult child, and slow-to-warm-up child (Chess and Thomas, 1996). From my own experience, the easy child type of temperament would adapt his or her temperament to a certain particular individual. For example, a child would not necessarily imitate the parent's ghostly behavior. However, a child would be imitating certain kinds of behavior, like when he or she sees a parent throwing stuff and making an outburst (Bandura, Ross, and Ross, 1963). As a result, the child's attachment to this particular individual would gradually decrease, and this would make the receiving end individual think that the child has a difficult type of temperament. It is almost the same result as Harlow’s research (Harlow, 1958).
Certain children have the ability to adapt their temperament to their surroundings or certain people. Like the above example, a child would sometimes have a difficult type of temperament with certain people with whom he or she feels uncomfortable, and vice versa.
Another example is when a child sees domestic abuse against the mother. A child would change his or her type of temperament, say the abuser is the father, from an easy to a difficult child. As a result, the attachment to the father will gradually decrease.

I work in a school with children and I see how different and similar kids could be in many different ways. Dealing with children there is no one way to do it. All children are different and unique in their own ways. Chess and Thomas (1996) explains how infants were assessed on nine different types of temperaments. Children tend to develop behavior patterns from parents or care takers. Parents or caregivers could not always control how a child's temperament may be . For example if a child is known as an easy temperament the parents feel more effective. As for a cranky or fussy child the parents may feel less effective in parenting (Eisenberg et al.,2008). Each type of temperament will determine the child , we could not change it but we could improve the behavior.
2. Children's minds change all the time especially when they get older. As infants get older they start to use social smiling which engages with their parents.As for newborns they cannot control their emotions just yet while their brains are still developing. Children's temperament usually gives off the parents'reactions and vice versa. If a child gets the right support and parenting a child will most likely develop into an easy child but that also depends on the individual child.
3. For example if a child is screaming and crying that child is looking for a parents love and support to hold them. If a parent shows a positive attachment that child will feel support and security. It will determine down the road when a parent is involved with positive actions about how a child will react in the future. One theory shows how attachment as an affectional bond will help an infant bond with their mother (Bowlby,1969). When having a healthy attachment the caregiver must engage in enjoyable interaction with the child. The caregivers are responsible for the child physical , social and emotional needs.
