The invention of an Artificial Sun
Background
The present age of information technology has presented a new paradigm of handling things. There is a lot of innovations and inventions that have come along with the rising challenges facing humankind. This has ensured that most problems facing the planet can now be solved or handled using the latest cutting-edge technology. Perhaps the most important advancements in the current age have been in the energy sector. With the ever-increasing demands for energy around the planet and the rapid depletion of fossil fuel which man has been over-dependent on, there has been a demand to look at renewable sources of energy. Currently, nuclear power is produced through a process that is known as nuclear fission. Nuclear fission involves breaking down large nucleus atoms into lighter pieces of nuclei. Although this process is simple, cheaper, and easier, it is associated with more waste in the environment. Emission of more waste through the nuclear fission process has therefore presented the need for a better way of producing safer and cleaner energy, hence the artificial sun's invention.
Process of creating the artificial sun
Unlike the fission process, the fusion process of power generation employed in the artificial sun involves exposing hydrogen to powerful magnetic fields, causin...
