Self and social awareness help business managers make better decisions by managing personal behaviors and relationships. Managers should develop self-knowledge to effectively counterbalance their natural tendencies and abilities as they make choices in their workplace. The skill will prepare me for automation by allowing me to be realistic in my expectations. As a leader, I am responsible for motivating employees towards multiple changes in the industry that promote growth and achievement of organizational goals. Self and social awareness will help balance what I expect from my team with the creative vision at the table.
