In A Midsummer Night’s Dream Theseus arranges for marriage with Hippolyta and had to ask her family so that they could be together.

Courtship in Henry V is similar to A Midsummer Night’s Dream where the man is required to obtain approval from the woman’s family.

Similarly, in The Tempest, the man also has to get approval from the girl’s family before marriage.
