In the scenario at hand, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) agent did not conduct a good search. The moment that drug trafficker booked the hotel room, it became his temporary residence. On that note, any agent who wants to search must present a valid warrant. Besides, the agent asked the hotel manager to open the hotel room where the suspected drug trafficker stayed. Even though the manager agreed to open the hotel room, it does not mean that the search conducted was legal.
