In the case presentation, protecting the welfare of the children is one of the compelling things to me. While it is the best interest of the child to live with his or her parents, there are instances where courts are required to terminate or exclude the rights of a parent. This is usually done in the best interests of the child. The custody of the child must be never at risk of harm whenever they are with either parent. Some of the issues under consideration, in this case, are related to potential abuse and neglect by the parents. The children are in danger of harm when they stay with the mother because she does not protect them from her boyfriend. There are custody issues between the mother and father of the children.
