Why the Union Won the Civil War
The North, which was the main based of the Union, had enjoyed the Industrial Revolution more than the South. Its manufacturing capacity was therefore greatly improved. As a result, the northern side was more advanced in terms of industrialization than the southern side, resulting in the existence of better weaponry. This gave the Union an advantage in the war.
Also, the Union had regions that were quite strong economically. In terms of industrialization, the northern side had a stronger economy than the south, and they had a competitive advantage over their opponents.
