The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act have significantly impacted on American healthcare. The Act addresses healthcare costs by providing an insight into premium healthcare insurance covers, addresses prevention measures, excellent treatments, reduction of medical errors, abuse and fraud, and emphasis on primary care (Islam et al., 2015). About 20 million Americans have access to equal healthcare, with those suffering from chronic conditions able to access medical services freely. One component of the Act is to improve public health and the training of medical professionals. This will be done by having new investment plans to train primary care professionals.
