I like your question about how data recording in electronic health records (EHRs) can be achieved during computer system maintenance. Specifically, EHRs reliability is determined by its effectiveness in technical performance and response to given commands (Vehko et al., 2019). System maintenance is crucial to ensure that EHRs are functioning effectively and efficiently. That is why it should be done during off-peak hours, such as at night, when no large amount of data is recorded. However, if the system cannot be used completely during maintenance, the data can be recorded using mobile devices, such as tablets and laptops, and later fed to the system when it’s working properly.
