Iris is a 2001 biographical movie about novelist Iris Murdoch and her relationship with her husband, John Bayley (Bajaj, 2001). Although the film paints Iris's relationship with her husband, it also shows that she is willing to delve into concepts such as affairs and sexual adventures. In the film, a younger version of Iris was played by Kate Winslet, while her older self was played by Judi Dench (Bajaj, 2001).
