 In my opinion, LOWE’s primary customers are all the homeowners and people who are planning to create a home. They require Lowe’s products in construction and building. Lowe’s bargaining power for its suppliers is low, while it is high for its customers. The size of Lowe company is largely giving it financial authority and higher control. Bigger suppliers can enjoy moderate bargaining power, however, no supplier would want to lose customers from Lowe’s provided market. Since Lowe’s is a big company, they can change suppliers easily, which is why suppliers tend to avoid major losses and go with Lowe’s marketing strategy. Moreover, suppliers tend to create long term partnerships with Lowe’s brand.

The level of competitive rivalry in the home improvement industry is high. The two biggest brands are Home Improvement are low. However, several other brands are making their presence felt intensely. Ace Hardware, Menards, True Value, and Sears are some of the other brands which have significantly grown in influence in the industry. Most brands sell similar products. Small businesses also pose some competitive threat. Apart from it the retailers like Walmart also sell a smaller range of home improvement products. So, overall the competitive threat for Lowe’s is high.
Competitive rivalry in the field of the home improvement industry is very high. Several brands make their presence felt in the industry. Companies such as Menards, Ace Hardware, and Sears are among the competitors of Lowe’s. These brands sell similar products so overall, the competitive threat for Lowe’s is high.
