A party may fail to perform the duty as expected, which may lead to the other party suing for the damage caused; for breaching the contract. Different cases about the contract, such as breaching of contract and remedies, personal property and bailment, and real property, are discussed below.
Breach of Contract and Remedies cases
Case question 2, Laura will recover the specified amount in the contract from Anthony because of the liquidation clause that allows the aggrieved party to receive a specific amount for breaching the contract by the other party (Twomey, Jennings and Greene p 350).
