Property liability complainants usually find themselves battling with property owners who refuse to pay for the incurred losses that happen within their premises. These owners are negligent in property managerial practices which labels them tort as law offenders. This is a complex area in tort law because it occurs unintentionally. Liabilities are categorized into four main division which include; lowest liability, mid-level liability, higher level liability and highest liability. Liability cases fall under negligence law where the property owner is expected to compensate the victims in accordance to the law (Betty, Samuelson, 2019). This paper will discuss negligence law by referring to a picture I took after the previous storm experience.
I took the photograph attached to this document during a late outbreak of a storm in my neighboring street. The storm was expected and the government issued a warning asking people to seek shelter or improve their apartment’s firmness so that it could overcome the force. The storm was not very strong at that time of the year and there was no much reported harm. Contrary, victims neighbor have a taller apartment than. But, it was weak enough not to overcome the storm like other apartments around the area. After the storm, neighboring apartment’s roof fell on my relative’s apartment destroying the roof and the dog shed. This situation falls under negligence law because the government had issued a warning about the tornado and the fact that the falling particles nearly killed unintended pets.
