The royal Canadian Mounted Police has for the longest time experienced some discriminatory allegations which have turned out to be true. As a manager, there are a number of aspect that can be changed to make sure that the force is streamlined and the level of accountability in the force is strictly observed. Enhancing the level of teamwork is crucial at this stage ("Group and Teamwork", 2016). One of the main aspects that has to be implemented, is the establishment of behaviors that will be considered unacceptable. This is related to the Kotter Eight-Steps of implementing change, where there is need to create the urgency for change. Ideally, the force has had values that include integrity, honesty, professionalism, compassion, respect, and accountability and commitment to their employees ("Organizational Change", 2016). However, none of these values have been observed especially when it comes to making sure that officers do not engage in unruly behavior to victimize and terrorize women emotionally and sexually. This will help the force gain their reputation as well. At the same time, it is crucial to note that, this will establish a code of ethics that will act as a guide on how the police should act at all times ("Conflict and Negoziation", 2016). It is not going to be a one-day affair and thus will require a lot of effort and dedication to achieve. Along with safeguards to make sure that where the process fails there is a backup process to bring back the expected outcomes.
