Tata Starbucks has expanded into new geographic markets to increase shareholder value. Despite the difficulties these markets provided, the corporation overcame them by understanding variances in consumer preference, culture, and other market characteristics. The value gained by entering a foreign market is represented in various ways. The most visible is the growth in revenue generated (and profits) due to the new sites' functioning.
