The company encourage people to wear what they think is comfortable for them to work freely. It also allows people to come with their pets such as dogs at the work place. Moreover, the company motivates workers through the use of expensive ski trips yearly. Finally, Google has a cafeteria that offers all types of food to the employees (Greenberg, 2011). Question 2 Some of the methods that Google can use to enhance motivation include creating a job related competition. The company can have a panel that appreciates the best performing team. Such appreciation will encourage competition in performance, thereby increasing productivity of the company. Apart from being appreciated the employees needs to see how their little efforts impacts the company’s long-term goals. Finally, the firm should innovate ways to celebrate the organization's success and involving the employees. Question 3 The recommendations above differ in some cases. For example, creating a competition environment may have limitations towards people who are not competitive, moreover, the team that is always last will be discouraged because they feel they have little impact to the company. Being open to the employees has the limitation, some type of openness may be destroying rather than advantageous to the company.
