Introduction
Cryptocurrency is defined as virtual or digital currencies secured by cryptography, which makes it not only secure but also hard to double-spend them. Most cryptocurrencies are decentralized and based solely on blockchain technology – a digital ledger. The exchange of cryptocurrency occurs through a process known as the Digital Currency Exchange (DCU). DCU as a business enables clients to trade digital cryptocurrencies. Over the years many cryptocurrencies have developed and now trade Ethereum, Altcoins, XRP (ripple), Bitcoins, among others (Howell, Niessner, & Yermack, 2020).
