Introduction The GM organization is described as an organization characterized by incompetent leadership which is evident in the actions and decisions of the CEO. It is one organization that does not value its culture. Moreover, it attributed the role of the organization personnel in establishing a great culture that impacts on all of its activities to benefit everyone. One of the organization's strength is that it has the ability to identify some of the problems in the organization (Kuppler & Kuppler, 2018). GM’s weaknesses include its inability to address the problems such as the ignition problem which is a major ethical issue to be considered to ensure the safety of its consumers. The organization does not also take responsibility for some of its faults and has not done much to develop urgent solutions to many of its problems (Kuppler & Kuppler, 2018). The organization also has a weakness of not considering some ethical issues such as safety in their production, thus endangering the lives of the consumers. Organizational modeling The behavioral organization model of the organization is autocratic. This is because the leader of the organization is the one who makes all the decisions and gives orders to the employees who are expected to obey. The model asserts that the employees should be motivated and instructed by their leader or managers who do all the thinking and decision making. This is evident in the organization where the CEO Mary Barra makes her own decisions for the company. In comparison with the models used in other industries such as the Toyota Company and the Honda Company, which is a supportive model, there are a lot of differences more so in the motivation of the employees. In the supportive model, the employees have self-motivation and are free to support the organization through the contribution of ideas and decision making. The model values the role of the employees and their significance in the company. The differences arise because of the mode of leadership and cultures which also define the behaviors of the organization. The culture of the organization impacts significantly to the behavioral model which is autocratic. The culture focuses on the leadership of the organization and limits the influence of employees in decision making in the organization leading to poor decision making. Decision making is limited when the culture does not include the employees in the process. The decisions making process cannot be as productive as when all the stakeholders of the organization are involved.
