Brief Overview of the Organization

Unilever is a global company that specializes in food consumption, cleaning, and personal care goods. It is popular for food spreads and considered among the most valuable companies in Europe. The company was formed by a merge between Margarine Unie and Lever Brothers in 1930 and has its headquarters in Rotterdam. It has research facilities in the UK, USA, India, and China, which are responsible for creating and developing new products as per the consumption trends in the market. As of the year 2017, the company obtained revenue of approximately 54 billion Euros, and its total assets increased to 60 billion Euros (Unilever, 2018). Its food brands include Knorr, Blue Band, Magnum, and Unilever food solutions, among others. The home care products comprise of laundry products and disinfectants such as Persil, Omo, Surf, and Domestos. Additionally, the company produces personal care products like body sprays such as AXE and bathing soaps such as Dove. It also produces deodorants and skin care products (Unilever, 2018).

Vision, Mission, and Goals

The vision of Unilever is to make the world a better place by providing sustainability. It aims at providing a healthy future for children by producing oral care products and hygienic and safe cleaning agents. Children are encouraged to play and stay clean. The company also collaborates with the World Dental Foundation, which is at the forefront in promoting dental hygiene.
