Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s “Frankenstein” is among the most interesting books I have ever read. In particular, chapter one made it clear that the book was not going to be boring. I like how the author started by describing one of the most distinguished families in Geneva. Chapter one of “Frankenstein” triggered the deepest part of my heart, particularly at the part where Caroline Beaufort lost her father.
In my opinion, chapter one depicts a rare situation of a rich family that cares for the well-being of others. As portrayed in the book, the Genevese family was well-renowned, and Victor’s father was popular for helping others.
