Al Tenaiji & Osa (2015) investigated on the strategies used in teachingthe strategies used to teach physical education in secondary school in the United Arab Emirates. The article included an abstract, an introduction, review of related literature, data collection plan, results, recommendations, and conclusion.
The abstract explained the main objective of the studystudy’s primary objective, setting, current curriculum, inclusion and exclusion criteria, the rationale for modifying the current curriculum, and recommendations for the suggested changes (Al Tenaiji & Osa, 2015). However, the researchers failed to mention the actual plan for the study, provide a brief discussion of the results quantitatively, and explain the conclusion of the studystudy’s conclusion. All of these should be included in a summary of around 300 words. Thus, the researchers failed to provide an excellent abstract (University of Southern California, 2021).
The introduction was detailed and explained the purpose of the study. This was supported by the literature review that discussed the significance of the study based on the gap on in the current knowledge about the topic (the University of New England, n.d.).
