Classroom-based physical activity, cognition, and academic achievement
Evidence suggests that there is an observable association between cardiovascular fitness, cognitive function, and physical activity during early childhood and adolescence. The above variables are linked to the academic performance of an individual. According to Donnelly and Lambourne, the number of children who are overweight has more than double in recent years as the physical activities in public schools decline. In the United States, alone they give an estimate of twenty-five per cent of children overweight and another eleven per cent are suffering from obesity. According to their study, this trend was common in adults but today even children are suffering from type 2 diabetes, triglycerides, blood pressure, and low HDL cholesterol. They also observe that a third of male and male adolescent do not meet the required standards for the cardiorespiratory fitness. Donnelly and Lambourne try to support that there is a relationship between physical activity, fitness, fitness, and academic performance.

They also advise on teachers to emphasize on the interaction of the interpersonal environment, the individual, and the physical environment. Teachers should use their influence to engage a student in physical activities. Thus, the study completely agrees with the title that there is a direct relationship between physical activities and academic achievement.

This category of children also counts as American children. On biases there is also a sizeable number that is undergoing homeschooling, this study fa...
