Self-discipline is an essential factor in the accomplishment of life and career goals, and it is a determinant of the path that an individual follows to stay on track. Given the need to take up a degree and master’s course, it is significant to consider the relevance and compatibility to current and future goals. By undertaking a degree course in diplomacy and international relationship as well as a master’s course in business administration, I will be able to choose a career path in health that has a broad outlook on social issues and offer solutions to the public. Although I understand the difficulty of taking this career path, I am confident that the degree and master's course will equip me skills needed for future responsibilities and roles in various sectors of the economy. The degree course in diplomacy and international relations will assist me in interacting and networking with people from all walks of life and understand their problem and ways of resolving them. I believe studying this course will give me the platform to view issues from a broader perspective and offer global solutions and prepare me to work at the U.N for Global Health and human security for terrorism or apply a post at the U.S CDC government.
Since the two courses will run concurrently, I have the chance of relating knowledge from one session to the other and bridging the gap that may exist in society.
