In my social, professional and academic endeavors, I have strived towards affecting the people I interact with in a positive way. Over the years, I have worked with a wider range of individuals drawn from varied social backgrounds. For instance, I was presented with the opportunity of working as a volunteer with the elderly members of the Chinese community in a facility of the aged. Further, I have worked with the youth in institutional settings as a member of my college and high school basketball teams. I have also institutionalized ample and productive interactions with students of different nationalities when I was pursuing my community studies in Seattle. Considering the wider range of societies and culture I have worked with, my career goals are:
* To make positive changes in the organizations I work with by appreciating the cultural perspectives upheld by institutional stakeholders drawn from varied social backgrounds.
* To embrace teamwork as a tool of wok and a channel of fostering career advancement through appreciation of the individual contributions made by each of the organizational stakeholders I will work with in my professional endeavors.
