It feels very great seeing members of the society, including other organizations today trying to fight and campaign against drug abuse. It has been realized that it is common among the youths who are depicted to be the eyes of the future society. Today, we are here to discuss some issues revolving around drug abuse, including fatal consumption and how drugs destroy the lives of our youths and also how to help in reducing it. I would therefore first deliver a speech to you on the sensitive issue in a society which is drug abuse.
Drugs, as we know, are among the many issues that affect most of the youths in the society today. The teenagers are found to use the drugs whereby it is administered in their systems in different ways including smoking, injection, drinking and sniffing. It is unfortunate that the youths are blinded to see the adverse effects on their psychological and physical lives. Drugs have destroyed a lot of people leading even to death among the users (DARE, 2013).
It is also evident that drug traffickers have resolved to target the youths who are mainly students in universities and colleges. The students moreover have also become part of their drug trafficking networks. This is one thing that has destroyed the youths we have in the society, and there is a great need to deal with it as a matter of urgency.
