Research question: Does work-life balance reduces stress leading to increased employee productivity in the workplace? In particular, work-life balance means that there is a healthy balance between individuals’ personal lives and work. Many employees working from home manage to have a work-life balance, resulting in more quality time with family, reduced stress, and increased productivity (Sharma, 2021). Having a work-life balance is challenging for many workers, particularly since the majority of them find themselves spending more time at work. However, employees require to spend quality time with friends and family members to decrease conflicts and stress. When these individuals share work-related information with those close to them, such as spouses and friends, it reduces work-family conflicts (Venkatesan, 2021). In that light, co-workers, friends, and family members are vital in maintaining a work-life balance.
