Introduction
According to the documentary Egilite for all, the film tells the story of a successful slave in history. Noland Walker (a producer and writer of documentary films) portrays the French revolutionary ideas in the film. The film is based on the Haitian revolution and a great leader who reconstructed the world's history. The Haitian revolution involves the conflicts between the colonists, Haitian slaves, the armies of the French and British colonizers, and other parties between 1791 and 1804. The film's authors use this evolutional war of France to create the first black republic. The film elevates Toussaint Louverture by comparing him with George Washington. This brings us to whether his intellectual achievements and military capabilities compare with that of George Washington. Therefore, there are shreds of evidence that prove that Toussaint was an extraordinary leader despite his downfall. This paper discusses the central military of Toussaint Louverture and his intellectual achievements, and his downfall in the Haitian revolution.
The Haitian people won independence through the struggle from France. However, they are the first country to be founded by former slaves. Therefore, the French government gave citizenship to the franchise (the wealthier), but Haiti's community neglected the low. Thus, two months from 1791 May, there broke a war between the affranchise and the Europeans. This led to thousands of slaves rebelling against the authorities. Toussaint Louverture was a former slave and military leader who gained control in the late 1790s of some areas with support from French agents. He gave France nominal allegiance while pursuing his military and political designs. This included negotiating with the British. 
Toussaint was the first uncommitted stave when a sudden revolt started in the Northern Province. The place encompassed thousands of slaves in the colony. He helped his former master escape a few weeks after his hesitation. He then joined the black forces who were killing the Europeans and burning their plantations. Toussaint soon scorned the willingness of the rebel leaders to compromise the European radicals. Later he collected his army and trained them using guerrilla welfare tactics. This was when he added the name of Louventure to his original name. Its meaning was "opening," Which described his abilities as a military leader.
In 1793, Spain and France went to war, the Toussant and other black commanders joined the Spaniards, now the Dominican Republic. As the general, Toussaint showed extraordinary military capacity and attacked his nephew Moïse, one of the renowned worriers of the time. He also fought two future rulers of Haiti, Henry Christophe, and Jean-Jacques Dessalines. Toussaint's triumphs in the north and mulatto achievements in the south, and British control of the coasts carried the French close to disaster. However, in May 1794, Toussaint headed toward the French, giving as his reasons that the French National Convention had as of late liberated all slaves, while Spain and Britain declined, and that he had become a republican.
