Research and Describe Emerging Technologies in Architecture

Research Paper Instructions:

The History of Contemporary Architecture is the course.
It will help if you examine this reading through the lens of "Emerging Technologies".
The technical type of the paper is a 'research' paper, but it would be fantastic if instead, you could do this as a hybrid paper (a healthy blend of research and reaction)
I attached the reading that needs to be read. its called
"Parametricism and the Autopoiesis of Architecture" by Patrick Schumacher.
Thanks again for the help!!!

Emerging Technologies in Architecture
With the growth in technology, architecture has not been left out. Over time architecture has evolved from ancient times when designers built Gothic buildings from concrete and stone to a modern age design where designers minimize and optimize construction material (Schumacher 64). Medieval architecture today is seen as beauty mainly because of the creativity that went into the design. The Great Wall of China, the Egyptian Pyramids, and the Taj Mahal are all buildings made by the most artistic symmetry that the world has ever seen. Structures such as Le Corbusier Villa Savoye in France are today a tourist attraction due to their elaborate designs. The horizontal windows, roof gardens, and the ground floor artwork made these buildings stand out. However, these architectural designs were overtaken by modernism with the invention of dynamic systems and more investment in technological systems.
Schumacher believes that parametricism is the right way to urbanism and modern architecture. He says that “all elements of architecture have become parametrically malleable”. He asserts that one of the main advantages of parametricisn is “the intensification of relations both internally, within a design project, a building, and externally, with its context and surroundings”. He sees parametricism as anew style after modernism. In a way parametricism aligns itself with Luhmann’s philosophy on social systems which had it that today’s societies are organized in terms of functional differentiation. Though Luhmann did not define architecture as a subsystem, but Schumacher opines that “architecture is one of those gre...
