-Chicago Style's Bibliography format: (that is, what we usually write essays in MLA/APA format on the last page of the article)
Last name, First name. Title of Book. Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication.
(Our book has multiple authors, you need to refer to BOOK BY MULTIPLE AUTHORS in the following URL)
-Footnote format of Chicago Style: (that is, when we usually write Essay in MLA/APA format, you quote the original text of the source or use your own words to rewrite the original text in the parentheses) and in the Chicago format, we unify here Represented by Footnote
1. First name Last name, Title of Book (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication), page number.
Please note that when we mark footnote, we need to insert a footer in your document, and click to cancel the "same as previous section" button to mark a different footer, otherwise your footer on each page will become the same content .
in addition! When marking a footnote, you need to add a superscript number to the original text, so that the number in front of your footnote is the same as your superscript number. The corner labeling method is the click button
(The above-mentioned Bibliography and Footnote are two different things, do not confuse them. The difference between the two lies in the order of the author's last name and first name, and whether there is a page number. For questions about publishers and publication years, you can refer to Automatic Citation's website: , the book is from 2020)

Question 2
Civil Rights Movements and Changes to Nature of Political Parties in the United States
The American Civil Rights Movement's primary objective was to protest against discrimination and racial segregation. The movement came to national prominence in the 1950s. Its roots were enslaved African Americans who were against racial oppression and who aimed to ensure the institution of slavery was abolished. As a result of the civil rights war, a lot of African Americans were emancipated, but a lot of impacts were felt. Consequently, individuals' civil rights were granted after the fourteenth and fifteenth amendments to the constitution. Nonviolent protests were held in the 1950s and 1960s, which broke the pattern of various public facilities being segregated by race. Thus, with the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Act by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the civil rights movement was declared over. Roark. The American Promise: A History of the United States. From 1865. Bedford/St. Martins, 2009.] [Andrews, Kenneth T., and Sarah Gaby. In 1971, individuals like Jesse Jackson started the Rainbow Coalition. He was an active member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Because of his desire to ensure African Americans' rights were upheld, he ran for the Democratic Nomination for President in 1984.
Additionally, as a result of the civil rights movement, political laws that promoted segregation of facilities were outlawed. Consequently, African Americans were given access to previously restricted facilities to whites. Also, African Americans got a chance to participate in various political parties and have a say in law formation. Additionally, due to the civil rights movement, African Americans got the right to vote for whom they deemed fit for various political positions. Thus, African American women were also aware of this right to vote, indicating that African Americans would have a say in political matters.[Kenneth "Local protest and federal policy, 515]
