Obesity is the accumulation of excessive fat within the body above the normal level. It may also be associated with different aspects of specific fatty-based meals. According to World Health Organization, obesity is rampant in both developed and developing countries. Digital snacks are exposing the current generation to increased obesity: the paper probes obesity, its risks, causes, prevalence in the current society, and treatment. The identified aspects are essential since they make timely management of the epidemic. Obesity adversely impacts one's physical and biological lifestyle. The risk of obesity is also associated with body inflammation. Inflammation of the body is majorly considered from the high amount of cholesterol in the body. It is essential to note that there are some specific inflammations with an increased amount of the body, especially the stomach and joints. This consequently leads to reduced mobility. The patient is unable to walk long distances successfully. Age and economy is another major contributor to obesity. Obesity occurs at all ages, from children to adults. However, the aged and young children are the most exposed to obesity. There are various reasons behind the identified children. Based on age, there is an increase in hormonal changes, and these changes contribute to obesity in various ways. Cancer is also a prevalent health risk that is contributed by obesity. The common types of cancers that are attributed to the disease are those incorporated with blood and digestion. It is essential to note that with poor blood supply and circulation due to a high amount of cholesterol, it becomes extremely difficult for individuals to conduct their duties normally. It is also noted that despite the disease lacking cancerous contents, it indirectly leads to blood cancer.

Therefore, it is important to focus on the specific type of meals that would not adversely impact the normal body system. Obesity can be linked to the eating behavior of any individual. Most people who regularly consume high-fat-based products are likely to experience obesity. Furthermore, solutions to obesity may vary from each other; however, the direct solution to obesity is weight reduction. Weight reduction may be physically or biologically addressed. Weight reduction may also be noted to result from how the patients carry themselves. According to Heymsfield & Wadden (2017), nurses and practitioners play a significant role in determining the rate of weight reduction. An appropriate weight assessment can also be used as a tool in determining to what rate an individual is likely to be impacted.
