Explain how nursing theory fits with the EBP model for your study (models for EBP are described in your textbook). EBP models are also explained in the Rempher (2006) article found in the content area. Identify the name of the model. The AMSTAR is a validated instrument that uses 11 items to assess the degree to which review methods are unbiased. It has been determined AMSTAR has good agreement, reliability, construct validity, and feasibility (Pieper, Buechter, Li, Prediger, & Eikermann, 2015).

The Coleman Methodology score, was originally developed for and used to grade clinical studies which assesses methodology with use of ten criteria, giving a total score between 0 and 100. The higher the score the better the review and bias control.
Was the GRADE system used in the review? Quality of evidence was assessed by the Grades of Recommendation, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) system.
The PRISMA guideline is usually looking at a minimum set of criteria and is most often seen in systematic reviews that are looking at interventions. It is a solid use of criteria to strengthen a study.

The nursing method's philosophy is the work of Ida Jean Orlando, who investigated the bond between the nurse and the patient. For this research, CINAHL is used for most of the research papers while doing the AND. It is preferred because it has a current database to research nursing journals. There is also the use of reputable institutional sites like Mayo Clinic when advancing the search while getting reliable information. The keywords of the PICOT question sought were how lack of repositioning for more than two hours affects pressure ulcers. Additionally, the research focused on the lack of repositioning and pressure ulcers of immobile nursing home residents. It is a belief that by using these keywords on sites mentioned, one can find helpful articles that are credible where it will be able to be used to support the PICOT question. The search engines utilized to retrieve items were Google, PubMed, Medline, CINAHL, PsychInfo, Pearling.
