This is associated with better patient outcomes and safety, especially when dealing with complex surgeries. 3 D printing is associated with patient satisfaction when integrated to meet the patient needs. However, there is still a challenge in integrating the new 3D printing even when monitoring the use of the technology. This may affect patient outcome when it is not possible to cross check patient information. 3D printing is still a new technology and there are limited materials and patients may have to wait for long. 3 D printing will need to be integrated into health care to improve outcomes.
