Most patients demand immediate treatment, while others need continuous monitoring and reminders to take medicine and do daily duties, including washing, turning on the bed, and using the restroom. Overburdened nurses may overlook patients' needs. The use of nursing informatics in such settings may help nurses provide high-quality patient care faster. Artificial technology can help nurses monitor patients with mental health difficulties in skilled care facilities.
Description of the project
Patients with mental illness put nurses under much stress. Nurses who care for mentally ill patients may experience burnout. In a crisis, nurses must prioritize patient needs and react fast. The nurses must also administer mediation to all patients, which requires time and effort. One of the AI-enabled solutions recommended for usage in healthcare nursing is healthcare aromatics. Errors may be corrected with the help of the system when nurses prioritize patients and take the time to check that the medication has been swallowed (Mosier et al. 2019). A hospital's IT infrastructure must comprise two systems. The nurses present are informed of the patients' needs and obligations. A second method helps identify drugs, minimize duplications, and ensure patients take their complete amounts. Mentally ill individuals may spend more time in the hospital due to poor drug adherence. Patients will heal faster if an AI-powered system finds and tracks the optimal medicine for each patient.

Implementing an AI-based medication recognition system will significantly impact nurses and patients. These two will be engaging with the system the most. Consequently, nurses will have to stop documenting each medication dosage they give patients and be physically there when they take it. They will require instruction to use this strategy efficiently. So will nurses and technicians, as well as physicians. The system is more likely to succeed than the nurses in patient care, leading to superior outcomes. Doctors must also learn the new systems. They will need to enter the patient's diagnosis and wait for the system to generate a list of suitable drugs.
