Therefore, this investigation will major on the effects of hand-held gadgets in healthcare on patient outcomes.
Reason for Studying the Topic
Communication breakdown is the primary phenomenon that leads to poor health in care provision, especially during handover (Muller et al., 2018). Ineffective information transfer, name ambiguities, and failure to understand clinical instructions result in medical errors (Pal et al., 2021). This research is vital since it will inform the benefits of using mobile phones in healthcare to increase access to patient and related data, facilitating monitoring activities.
