After reading the essay, the reader will understand that workers spend most of their time at work and have little time for their personal lives. Due to the limited time they have at their homes after work, employees of a corporation occasionally engage in personal activities during their break times. Of course, corporations can claim to care for their workers by offering fantastic benefits, but in addition to the hedonistic benefits provided by the company, workers also need to be cared for emotionally and physically. A person seeking an excellent job with a great perk will probably be drawn to it. However, after working for a company for a while, they may feel uncomfortable and decide to switch to another one that will allow them to work comfortably and with less stress.
For the longest time, people always prefer the companies that offer a significant number of perks to those who have less because they want to get the most they need while they work, but as the time comes, it is not easy to separate the work and personal lives of the employees. The employee feels bewildered and stressed due to the excessive work they are doing even after hours. The beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic caused chaos among all people, particularly in businesses, resulting in the difficulty in separating personal and professional lives as the employees started to work from the comfort of their homes.
