I concur with Castell’s definition of the new world which is closely knit by technology and where every facet of humanity has been impacted by the information age. There is a birth of a new societal framework which dictates interactions and has stemmed from the revolution in technology, globalization, and social networking. These elements vary slightly across the world but they have restructured the traditional nature of cities, communication, interactions, economy, networking etc. In this article, he discusses the relationship between the spaces of places and spaces of flows.
