In this given article, the author argues that rationalist models have dominated the research regarding moral judgment. In this regard, the author provides various reasons for taking into account the concept that moral judgment does not originate from moral reasoning, instead moral reasoning is generated from the judgment made. I totally agree with this sentiment because people tend to give the judgment first and then they start searching for the reasons behind the judgment. To make this point clear, Haidt (2001) provides a story of two siblings, who were travelling together and ended up making love while they were alone. From the story, I could immediately give a judgment that their decision to make love was wrong because they are siblings then try to think of the reasons. Most probably, the first reason I will give is that the both community and the religion prohibits incest.
